Right you are on the patch, Ted. Sharp eyes! I did this deliberately since the RON 12 patch - while colorful - isn't very clear as to what it is, while the patch with the Japanese flags is more of an iconic Pacific image. It seems to place the model into historical context for non-PT boat modelers who then see the flags under the boat and understand what the whole thing is about.
Cheers!

Thanks Jeff, but you're mostly to blame: too many excellent CAD drawings on your website which allowed infinite detailing.
Cheers!

Magnificent model Bob! You and Al make quite a team! I sure hope this one makes its way to Phoenix for the next IPMS show.
Really nice attention to detail. I love the open hatch leading to the engine room, and the careful work on the life raft.
I know you used after market parts for the 20mm. Did you use 3D parts on anything else? Or was the rest scratch built?
Thanks for sharing your work. I hope to see it in the flesh someday.
Dave

Hi David,
Thanks so much for the kind words! If you send me an e-mail I'll send you a link to an online album which records the build in detail and which will answer all your questions.
Cheers!
