Carl: You need some cots set up under those tarps because that was where we slept during the day after patroling all night..

Thanks, CJ!
I'll sure to take that in mind on any others that will have the tarps on them. Maybe two more (out of nine), at least, will have tarps on them.
These kinds of little detail ideas are most welcome and valuable!

Some additional details added to the farthest along boat.
Flag, laundry, and figures.
A little more progress on the three other boats that I have on hand.

Progress on the PT Boats has started up, again.
I have three more that just received a coat of paint and three more pending some additional detail parts before paint; i.e. 40mm, 20mm, and 37mm guns, etc.
Two boat kits are in the mail, to me, as replacements for faulty resin casting on two kits that I had received, previously. These two will be the stragglers.

Carl,
The detail you are getting on this small a scale is amazing. I really like the vintage looking photo you posted.
All I can say is wow.

As I look at this Diorama, I am excited to start our project. Some donations have come in, others have been promised. If all goes well, Stan will begin our 1/72 USS OYSTER BAY/ RAY WILBUR PROJECT in January 2011. We have more then we need for blue prints, and photos for our boats, which will number three. At 1/72 scale, our Tender will be roughly 60 inches in lenth. Should be an awesome build. Keeping my fingers crossed for the right donations.................
