Greetings PT Boaters! We took the PT658 underway a few days last week during the Portland Rose Festival Fleet Week. I just wanted to post a quick video of us leaving the dock on the way out to meet the ships coming into Portland. Also a couple of photois of some recent work on the boat. One is our recreation of the Captains desk from a photo of PT309 during the war, side by side comparison, and second is the IFF BN Unit we obtained and have now fully installed on board the PT658 down in the CO Stateroom.
Here is the video, also on You Tube, called "Off to see the Fleet"
Here are the photos of the Skippers desk, Original PT309 1944 and PT658 2025
Next 4 are the Builders Acceptance Photo of the Wardroom on PT625 with the IFF BN Unit visible in lower right of photo, then next 3 are newly installed Complete IFF Suite (ABK, Control Box, Code Selector Switch Box, Duplexer, Power Plug receptacle, and BN Unit below on custom built Aluminum support bracket and shelf. All of the missing connectors and cables for the BN were obtained and connected per the blueprint diagrams. Sorry these photos are distorted sizes not sure what I did wrong I may try to re post them 1 at a time instead of all together.

Here are some photos I took while we went to escort the Ships at Rose Festival. Notable were the 2 USN Arleigh Burke DDGs USS Mustin DDG89 and USS Jack Lucas DDG125. Again the aspect ratio of these photos have been "squashed" I am not sure what I need to do to make it look right.

The USCG sent their Security Canine to Sweep our boat for clearance into the Restricted Zone. Also some pics of guests piloting the boat during the trip. Arthur Lopez whose Dad was Joe Lopez of PT127 and his wife Dee.
