Thank you all for taking thre time to check out the pictures of the new PT Boat Exhibit. July 10th is the opening date, which is right around the corner and I am very excited. A special thanks to my friend Dick who went out of his way to post the pictures for me. What would we do without him............

Good News. The Exhibit opened today and Museum Officials were very pleased with the opening day numbers. I spoke with them around 3:00pm this afternoon and they said a least half a dozen folks were in there and 2 were watching the Video. No clue as to how many went into the Exhibit today, but they said each time they took a stroll through people were in there. That is exciting News. Also, the Museum promoted the opening so I recieved at least a half dozen calls from prior PT BOAT VETS that I never knew were right in my backyard. One of them owns an OIL COMPANY ( I doubt I will get cheaper gas ) so that was really good to hear from them. Hope some of you in the area will have a chance to get down to the Museum......

I met Alex Johnson and his Family today at the Museum. It was nice spending time with Alex, who enjoyed the Exhibit very much. His Family was great and it was a joy to visit with someone who visits this message board. Alex came all the way from Virginia to visit with his Family and made my Exhibit one of his stops. Thanks Alex. Will be visting with another message board member on Saturday, who will be making the trip from New Jersey. I can't thank you guys enough for showing such an interest in PT Boats by stopping in to see the Exhibit. For the record, the Museum Curator has informed me that the PT Boat Exhibit continues to draw many visitors and has certainly become a crowd favorite since its opening on July 10th.
