Hi
When the PT174 was painted in the adaptor ( zebra) scheme there was a large 3 sided spray shield infront of the 40mm bofor's . any idea or pic's of what this shield was like. I have 1 side on pic of the 174 when she was painted with her stripes. You can see the shield but not well enough to get any detail as to size or angles etc. from what I have found on the web . it would apear that the crew hung the ammo on the sides of this shield as well ?.

Hello
Have started to build the shield from the pic that I have & the 1 sent to me by Will. The shields are only tacked together as I'm not 100% sure that they are right. Once I'm happy I'll add all the inside strapping & struts that Will's picture shows. Guessing on the exact size & what the front of the shield looks like.
Any one have any info on this shield would be gratefull. have posted some pic's on the link

Nice pic but I'm afraid thats a different type of shield to the one that I'm looking .I hope this link works as you can see it's a long shaped shield. link didnt work I'll try again.
