What excited me was the fact I found Muster Rolls for my cousin Robert Winfield Orrell from his re-assignment from USS Astoria to temp assignment on USS Leary and finally assignment to PT Ron 1 on 11 Jun 1940. I already had the Pearl Harbor Muster Rolls. Robert was re-assigned to Meville as an instructor in Nov 1942. I did not find the Muster Rolls for '44-'45 when Robert skippered PT 523 at Leyte Gulf. is available in most larger libraries or a 14 day free trial offer is available.

Here's an image of the Muster Roll showing Robert's assignment to Ron 1.
