I've just become aware of a new book by Dave Levy, the first skipper of PT 59 at Guadalcanal.

It's titled "Fast Boats and Fast Times: Memories of a PT Boat Skipper in the South Pacific," by David M. Levy and Gerald A. Meehl.

I just ordered it from Barnes & Noble ... The author is a lifelong (mine) friend of our family . My father and he met during the war and continued their friendship until my father died . I still see him on ocasion but was unaware of the book . Can't wait to read it ...... he ia very interesting guy !!
