Hi there again.

As I continue to think about how I might position some of the crew figures I will be modifying on my 1/32 scale Lindberg PT boats I have pretty much decided that I want one boats crew to be in in-action poses. I already know how I want to pose the 20mm gunner. I want at least one of the 20mm ammo lockers to be open. Therefore I need to know what position the lid would be in when in the open position.

Did the lid a) stay partly up? or did it b) swing right over and hang down behind the ammo locker?

Hi there.

For those of you interested in this I have good news.

It seems that there was a small chain fastened to the underside of the 20mm ammo locker lid and to the end of the locker to help keep the lid open. Here is an image showing that chain.
