Folks,
There are a couple of videos on You Tube complete with sound that show the PT658 on September 16, 2006 going about 25 knots on the Columbia River during one of our PT Boater Bull Sessions sponsored by John Akin. We had several members WW2 PT Boater vets and their families on board during this trip. I like the sound of the 3 Packard V-12's on the video. If you have not seen or heard this before you should watch the videos and see what I mean.
Oh yeah, by the way we are planning on re-launching the PT658 after major repairs this Thursday July 10, 2008. Wish us luck! Jerry

I love it Jerry. Still hoping that you will be able to come up with that Video/Audio DVD of the Boat performing different Manuvers. I think it would be a great FUND RAISEING tool. Done right, it would be the only one of it's kind in the World............

That clip of the 658 warming up its engines is (edited for profanity). That sound is awesome! Makes me want to jump on a plane and head west...

Jerry- the videos are fanastic! It gave me chills to hear those engines roar!

Those oldtimers must be thrilled when they can ride on 658.

BTW: thanks for the # for John Akin. I will try to contact him today.

Keep up the great work!
