Need EASY way to paint interior of 1/32 torpedo tubes

Hi there.
I'm sure I am not the first or only one to build the 1/32 Lindberg PT-109 kit with empty torpedo tubes. Does any one here have an easy and effective way to paint the entire interior of these tubes with out the use of an airbrush. I tried brush painting but it was not satisfactory = too much streaking and using a spray can = very little paint going into the interior as the spray is quite wide.
Your advice is welcomed and appreciated.

Hi
I scratch built the tubes on my PT174 & I left one of the tubes open so that I could have a man greasing the tube up.
All I painted was as far in as could be seen with a metallic silver paint & then went over this with a messy mixture of oil paints to simulate the grease.
Do you need to paint the whole length if so what about using something like a piece of sponge on the end of a stick pushed just one way through & out the other end.

Hi there.
I could not find this thread earlier which is why I am posting this now for those who were interested.
I finally finished modifying the torpedo tubes.
I tried painting the interior of the two open ended ones using a can of Testors Flat Black.
It was not the greatest results. There was a lot of back pressure and little coverage very far in the tubes. I ended up letting extra paint accumulate in the tube and then rotated the tube until the interior and the aft end was completetly covered. Then I hung the two torpedo tubes so that the excess paint could run out.
For any one else considering modelling open torpedo tubes I revcommend painting the two halves *BEFORE* assembly. It was after I assembled the four torpedo tubes that I decided to have the two forward ones empty. Second would be to assemble the tubes cut off the round torpedo ends and then simply pour in some flat black or whatever other colour you decide to use into the tube and then rotate the tube to cover every thing and then hang it so the the excess paint can run out the open end.
