ť Topic: Color of a 40 mm

I am building a model of my Dad's boat-PT-342 in New Guinea 1944 and I need some advice on the color of the 40mm and the 37 mm guns. Are they all painted the same? Help!

Hi I've just modelled the PT174 zebra striped on that I had a 40mm & 20mm , The 40 mm I painted a pale grey colour, Looking at what few colour pictures that I had for reference they seemed to have been painted a similar shade to the rest of the boat. I may be wrong . There are plenty of others on this site that might know better.
