Gidday Again,
Found these pics on Picture Australia.
The photos show PT 227 being towed back to the Harbour in Mios Wundi on 12th Nov 1944.Shes being towed by HMAS Stawell.(Mine Sweeper,Australian Navy)
Does anyone know anything about this incident?Engine Failure,Battle Damage or just simply run out of Gas?
Just interested thats all and more to the point,some more pictures of these beautiful Boats.
PT 227 was awarded the Navy Unit Commendation along with PT 230 of Ron 17(as you probably know)

Yea Newsnerd,too much time on my hands i think.
But it gives me a thrill to find pictures that others might not have seen before,and with all the help ive gotten from this board,i just want to return the favour and participate in anyway i can.
Its already Friday here so Happy 4th July to everyone.
