I sadly announce the passing of Roger LENEHAN a little more than a month ago. Roger served as a BM 1/c on PT 120. He commissioned that boat and soon was assigned to that outfit known as Division 17 and went into New Guinea with PT's 113, 114, 119, 121 and 122 as the only representation of the US Navy at that time. Those six boats had a time of it, for sure. He was very active at the Battleship Massachusetts Museum, as well. He was 85 years old at his passing. He is featured in the PT Boats video sold through PT Boats, Inc. as produced by National Geographic. I had the opportunity to speak with Roger severl times of late. He had a wealth of information. May he rest in peace.

Allan

It is always sad to hear of another PT BOAT VETERAN that has made his last patrol. I am sure his crew that went before him are awaiting his arrival to once more ply the waters, this time on a peaceful mission...........
