...red Triumph TR-3 with a "large silver PT boat" as a hood ornament?

It's mentioned in the wikipedia entry on him circa the 1960's while he was in Tennessee. I googled without success.

Her is a picture of VADM Bulkeley's hood ornament on his car he had in the 1990s. Sorry, don't remember what kind of car it is.

Awesome photo's. Seeing Bulkeley remeinds me of the time I met him at battleship Cove. He was so full of P-- and Vinegar, and I was in awe of him. I think it was sometime in 1983, I just don't remember. Here was this man I had read so much about and I was shaking hands with him. I shall never forget that moment. His wife Alice is still with us. I wonder if the Family still has that ornament..........
