With all the discussion and comment on 77-footers lately, this should be of some interest. Check it out.

The URL is:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3J13UVSEsUw

If for some reason that does not work, type in "Poppie in WWII in the YouTube search engine under "videos". This will bring it up as the first result in the search.

The tagline reads: Photos of Lt. PR Pettis & PT Boat 45.

All the best,
Gene K.

Although a short piece, I rather enjoyed it. It was well done and of course the music from the period really makes the piece. I would love to reach this person to see if the photo's can be copied, but I have no way of knowing who that is. Thanks for bringing this to the message board, which has some very interesting items of late.

Thanks, Frank. The photos you have been posting have been excellent. Do you have any more you'll be sharing with us?

I'm going to see if I can contact the person who posted the video. I'll keep you informed.
