This is a picture my Dad took. Can anyone verify if this is at Melville?

Yes, this is Melville in Rhode Island. Love the picture, do you have more of Melville?

Yes, it is Melville, these are enlisted men's huts.. I too have this picture. I'll have to check my records at home as to where I got it. I think was either at PT Boat HQ or the Museum in Fall River. All of the Quonsets at Melville (with a few exceptions) are what they call the Quonset redesign hut. The redesign hut is the one with the four foot wall on the side.

Sorry Frank. This is the only one. My Dad brought it home with him after the war. I am only assuming he took the picture.

Thanks Charlie, Is the picture identical? My Dad brought this home after the war. I only assumed that he took it.

Here's my photo, I believe I got it from PT Boat HQ. It is the same shot, mine (theirs) is cropped from yours.

Thanks Dick,

I couldn't get the picture to load before but thanks to Gary, I got it to work.

While I scanned the picture from one at PT Boats HQ, it is possible that your Dad took the picture.
