This might sound strange, but here goes.As you people on the board are the only people i know in the US,im wondering if you can help me.My grandfather is buried in Ragland Alabama in a small cemetery called Box Cemetery.Do any of you live near that town or know of anyone that would be willing to take a picture of his tombstone and email it to me.Ive googled the cemetery and it is very small,so the grave wouldnt be hard to find.
He was a sailor serving on MTB Bases in WW2.If anyone can help please email me as it would make my mother very happy and give her some closure as she never met him.
Thanks Michael

Sorry Michael...I'm in the wrong part of the country. Here's an idea though...if you really really really want it, you could try one of the local newspapers. Send them a nice email about all the work you've done and the international connection to that small town cemetary. Best case scenario: they want to do a small human-interest story on it all and part of the story would include a photo. Worst case scenario - they don't care but you ask for the names of any of their photographers who do freelance work...and you throw some money at them to drive out and shoot a photo.

If something like that came into my newsroom...I'd do it. But again, my newsroom is several hundreds of miles away!
