Ahoy there to all my friends and scale ship modelers!

I'm sorry that I've taken so long to get back to the board but first of all I have to say that somewhere, someone sent me a very "NASTY" computer virus called a TROJAN HORSE! My computer savy son in law who works as a computer security agent for a very large employment firm was pulling the hair out of his head trying to find the source. This little S.O.B. had over 6,000 links attached to it and every time we tried to tidy things up, BANG, the dang virus kicked in again! To sum things up, I'm up and running again with a very powerful anti virus program my son in law set up for me.

I only hope that I didn't infect anybody here on this board with the little crud!

Secondly, I went in for major knee replacement operation on my left knee! Yeah, it was time! I've suffered with it long enough what with being an ex- steel worker for 20 years, it's taken it's toll on my body big time! I was in re-hab for 19 days after 3 days in Shands Hospital here in Jacksonville Florida. Thank the Good Lord I'm home! I'm up and walking around with my walker and I'll get back to my model building this weekend.

I've had lots of time to think about future modeling projects while in re-hab that I don't actually know which one to tackle first.

Lastly, it sure feels good to be home and back on the PT Boaters Board!

Frank

First and foremost, WELCOME BACK to this wonderful site. Knee replacement can be a very hectic time, with the REHAB being worse then the darn knee. I know how you feel, I have arthritis in both knee's and have very little padding left. I need both knee's done, but being only 51, I will try to wait. There is not a day that goes by that I am not in some type of pain. My trophy for playing Football all those years and working with my body intead of my Brain.

Computers are pretty darn good until they act up, then you want to toss the dam things out the window. Good luck on your rehab amd good luck on your next project............
