I've had to make the painful decision to give up the PT 108 website. This due to personal health issues and the fact that my wife and I have been appointed guadians of a 3 year old and an 18 month old.

If anyone would be interested in this site, please contact me.

Although I am giving up the site, my interest in the 108 and her crews has not wained. I am willing to share what I have and try to answer any questions that someone may have about the 108.

For those of you who have provided assistance, images, and support; I am deeply in your debt.

To the messsage Board:

I am in hopes that one of you or several might jump on the Band Wagon and rescue this Web Site. If I had more time I would do it myself, but my Exhibit and other work keeps me busy. Geary has done an outstanding job, LETS KEEP IT GOING..................

I don't know when the hosting site will drop it, but if you are interested, use the email address for the site. It goes to my home email. At the present time I still have the domain name. Will provide more info from home.

Okay, this is really a long shot, but I've been trying to get in touch with Geary for about five years and haven't been able to do it. The last I heard from him was in an e-mail he sent letting me he was on his way to Michigan for tests and then he dropped off the radar completely. This was in 2010.

I was working on a model of the 109 while he was building his 108 and think we originally "met" on this forum a few years before he had to give up his website. If anybody here has heard from him or knows what happened to him, I really would appreciate hearing about it.

Thanks,
Rick Bunn

Thanks, Gary, but that phone number is the one I've had for him and it no longer works.

Like I said, this was a long shot, but Geary loved PT boats and I figured if he was able, he might turn up here again some time. A while back, while I was trying to find some hint of him on the internet, I did find a reference to a person with the same name on a cemetery site. Geary told me what his health issues were and it is possible he lost the battle with them.

Thanks again, Gary, I appreciate you getting back to me on this.

Thanks, Earl, I appreciate it. A search under Geary's name is what originally brought me to this thread.

The only other thing I've found while looking for him on the internet has been the cemetery website below. That has the name listed as William Geary Sims and I don't know if Geary was actually his first or middle name, so I'm at a standstill.
