I thought some of you might appreciate this four part series on the real PT-73, which includes a history of RON 13. It is fairly well done, though footage of 80' Elco's from They Were Expendable, and the John Ford SBD Dauntless dive bombers with meat balls! A little bit of humor in the form of a running count on propellers replaced.

Cheers, Dennis

I'd like to thank whoever fixed my post! The documentary is worth watching, if for no other reason but to here the history of RON 13, the forgotten squadron. From the main land, to the Aleutian then back to the states and then to the South Pacific. Their Higgins boats must surly have the PT record for most miles sailed under their own power! Cheers, Dennis

Poor RON 13, forgotten and unloved! If you get past the first 50 seconds or so, it really is a pretty good documentary, unlike the History channel, where history is few and far between! Cheers, Dennis
