Thanks Frank. It took me a few seconds to figure out what the 40mm was, the canvas covering part of it blends into the ocean quite well.

Nice photo Frank! Notice the US Ensign flying from the radio antenna to make it more noticeable so our friendly Aircraft would recognize it. We modeled this as how we fly our Ensign aboard PT658.

Jeff I know that canvas makes it difficult to spot. Jerry that flag must me 30 feet in the air lol.

Yes, it must be at least 30 feet! We put our flag up on the radio mast, but we had to cut it shorter to fit inside the boat house. So, our radio antenna is about 20 feet high and not the original 30feet. Historically, they were supposed to be that 30 foot length to be able to properly function as a radio antenna.
