For those of you who do not have deep pockets (like me), please be aware there are quite a few PT boat (and other historic subjects) related materials available on Amazon Kindle. I see "Hell on Keels" FOR EXAMPLE AND MANY OTHERS. I know ebooks are not as good as the real thing, but to be able to get these at a low cost is worth taking a look at.

I never paid much attention to Kindle, but I guess I should have. Having read your post, I went to take a peek and found At Close Quarters for .99 cents.

First off, let mw say I am not an employee of Amazon. If you are interested in any of the Kindle books, but do not own a Kindle reader, there is an alternative. Amazon has a Free app called Kindle Cloud Reader. You can download it and then read any of the Kindle books on your computer. That is what I did until I acquired a Kindle reader...just thought I would point that out.
