I love collecting original letters and envelopes from those that served on our WWII PT BOATS, BASES, and TENDERS. I managed to secure 3 more original letters and thought I would post one of them here. It has been censored and the areas in question cut out. I like this letter as it mention's how he finished painting the star on the boats deck. The boat was PT-223 with Ron 16A. The Sailors name is on the envelope. The letter might be a bit hazy as it is in Mylar protective sleeve when I scanned it.
