Here are a few photos of PT-245 and one of the 240. PT-245 would serve with Ron 20 in the South Pacific area before being transferred to the Southwest Pacific in 1944. PT-240 would start life with Ron 19 assigned to the South Pacific, having action at Vella Lavella, Treasury, and Green. The squadron was decommissioned and its boats were distributed to replenish other squadrons which had suffered operational losses. She would then make her way to Ron 20.
