A memo published by Frank on Facebook confirms that at least one RON19 boat, PT 242, mounted this weapon on the stern. I'm looking for drawings of this weapon plus any written documentation about it being carried. I have the tech manuals for it.

There is a video or two on Critical Past showing PT 242 getting an engine replaced at Bau Island, Rendova. I believe C.J. Willis is in that film, anyway, you might be able to see the weapon in the film, I haven’t watched it in a couple of months.

This is the video i was thinking of. While it shows the engine change on 242, it also shows PT 167, for me this film was very informative, especially since I made a 1/32nd model of PT 167 years ago, which this showed me was incorrect. For years I looked at the Ted Berlin photo, and wondered why there was something odd about the photo. Then I noticed, for his head to be even with the point of the mast shown in the photo, he would have to be 10-12 feet tall. Years ago(1991-92), I contact John Bowman, a crewmember on PT 167 1944-45. He told me the dayroom was never properly repaired after the Stanvac Manilla sinking. This video shows, at 17:50 the "dayroom" was only 12-14 inches high. He told me, it was just made of 2x6 or 2x8 planks and they only used it to stow life jackets and ammo cans.
