PT 577-624 Rubber Life Raft Stowage Locker

I was wondering what the quarter-round topped box on the starboard side of the engine hatchway was in this photo of PT 588. One of Andy Small's PT 577-624 drawings came to the rescue, thanks again Andy:

Jeff and Andy;
Thanks again! This means there were two on the later boats. This one and the one on the port cockpit spray shield.
Take care
TED

Good point Ted, along with the dinghy they had a lot of alternate ways to get around!
