» Topic: Accessing the machine gun turrets
http://www.ptboatforum.com/cgi-bin/MB2/netboardr.cgi?cid=101&fid=102&tid=482

Dear Sirs,
On the PT 103 site ( this is a fantastic reference site!),in the Detail Specifications for builders, I read the following info:"Access to the after machine gun turret shall be through a door cut in the part of the turret wall rounding out from the port of the corner of the dayroom". My first question with regard to this quote is whether the word "door"should be taken literally or does it refer to a door-shaped hole without any hatch. My other question concerns the front turret. Was this turret accessed in a similar way or were there no holes cut in the front turret wall? Thanking you in advance.

Kind regards,

Arjan Wiskerke
