Hello forum, can anyone point me to any information re. Jacob's prototype semi-sub c-25465 which was built around March of 1943. I would like to know what happened to this boat and any history of why it never went into production etc. thanks, Lee G.

Lee;
I have no idea what happened to C-25465, but here are some good photos of her: https://www.history.navy.mil/content/history/nhhc/search.html?q=%20c-25465
At least this semi-submersible was accepted, used in the field and survived;

Ted, another boat I am interested in is C-25464 also built by Jacobs in 194. Do you have any info on this prototype semi-submersible? This, Lee G.
