Hey Everyone, super excited to find this forum. I'm looking for a little help. My Grandfather was In RON 28 from July 44 ish till the end of the war (we are unsure of what boat). Looking to see if anyone has mapped out or written down their movements in the Philippines and the pacific theater. The only stuff I have been able to find is them stationed in Luzon - Port Sual in July 45 and transferring to Base 17 Sumar in Aug 45, then returning on the USS Talladega in 46. Mainly just trying to kind of put together a little bit of a timeline for me and my dad. If you run across a picture of a babyfaced EM2, possibly with a pet monkey, named James Gay that's him hah. Thanks everyone!

RON 28's war diary is on the site FOLD3.com - it is a pay site. Should help you out in tracking their movements.
