Thank you Dick and everyone for letting me come aboard. I have actually been a follower on this site for quite awhile now. I have always had an interest in PT boats ever since the movie PT 109. In 1992 I was able to take a father and son trip to the South Pacific to visit the sites where my father was in the war. We were there for the 50th Anniversary of the Battle Of Guadalcanal. On the cruise our ship stopped and dropped a Memorial Wreath on the site where PT 109 was rammed and sunk.We could see the island in the distance where JFK and the crew swam to avoid Japanese detection. It was something I will never forget. Thank you all.

Welcome to the forum Hank. There's a lot of information buried in this site as I'm sure you're aware.
