http://www.ptboatforum.com/cgi-bin/MB2/netboardr.cgi?cid=101&fid=102&tid=458

I am looking for pictures of Tulagi Island and the Men / Boats there... I have some of my own I will have to scan and upload... My grandfather has a pretty good collection of photo's.

Thanks!

gtdiesel,

In my limited PT reading/reseach experiences, decent photos of the boats at Tulagi are about as rare as hen's teeth. I've seen no more than half a dozen (probably less) decent pictures of the boats there, and another half dozen (or less) generic shots of the huts, the sign ("Through These Portals Pass The Best MTB Men..."), etc.

By all means, scan your Grandad's photos of the PTs at Tulagi, if you can. They'd be well received, believe me.

I will scan them as soon as I get a chance for sure.
