Here is something unusual, I wonder if this was only done to PT 459.

Notice the small angled windshield on top of the existing windshield.

Also notice what I am calling non-skid shrakes on the deck and hatch around the covered 37mm.

PT 459, PT 461 and two other RON 30 boats Cherbourg June 1944.

When RON 30 deployed to England the Squadron only had 6 boats, PT 456-461, making RON 30 the second smallest Squadron in the ETO. There are not to many photos that have surfaced for RON 30 boats, they were in Europe from June 1944-June 1945.
