All;
Well I took some photos of the original PT 41 1/20th scale model at the MacArthur Museum, here in Norfolk today. But since Photobucket has stabbed us in the back (In the name of progress of course[:-devil-:]), I can't post the photos.
This model is identical to the one VADM Bulkeley was presented with at ELCO, upon his return in late spring 1942, and had in his house with a ET figure in the cockpit.

Frank; this model has a small plate on the base at the stern, it reads: H.G. HANSEN- CRANFORD, NEW JERSEY.

They also have a 1/48th scale 80' ELCO model made by Don Rosencrantz which I also took photos of.

P.S. I also notice that photobucket has literally taken control of our photos, try clicking into any of our of pages here on this website, several of the the photos are blocked, and all deemed 3rd party hosting. [:-veryangry-:][:-veryangry-:][:-veryangry-:]
Take care,
TED

P.S. Example: Elco 80' model 1/48 scale model.

I wouldn't try putting anything on Photobucket. A friend sent me some links to his photos and it was hard getting around that site.

Now, I just tried it again and did a search on "Elco" and it came up with one photo; it was labeled:

"#17. Unknown Elco PT, races across the Ocean toward home. Great Shot"

I don't know who labeled it but really, races across the Ocean toward home?

All the links brought me to either junk or ads.

Pinterest has a lot of fantastic photos on it, including some PT Boat photo - with familiar names. The only thing bad about Pinterest is I seem to keep going on and on and on... almost a bottomless pit.

Just my opinion - Lew
