» Topic: Holden8702 Elco Rudder, Propeller Shaft, Strut cancelled
http://www.ptboatforum.com/cgi-bin/MB2/netboardr.cgi?cid=101&fid=102&tid=4263

Ordered a number of 3D printings from Shapeways from Holden8702 and all are being made except the Elco Rudder-Propeller-Shaft Strut got cancelled. Trying to get a hold of Luis to let him know, just don't have any contact info and I don't do Facebook. There is no mention in the product description was able to order then the it was cancelled, but everything else went through. Already sent email to Shapeways to see what is happening, just thought Luis should know.

I've had that happen, sometimes the techs take a closer look than the automated system does and deems things too fine or delicate to print. The 1/35th hatches I did passed OK but when someone bought the first one I got a message saying the raised "open" lettering was too small... hopefully Luis will be able to fix. I'd guess the sharp edge of a rudder strut or prop is to blame.

Hi. Luis here.

So sorry about delay to reply in these forums, I didn't take a look on it from two or three days.

Capt, you can contact me through the link available in all my products page, down where read "contact designer" or something else.
I read and reply asap all messages from the three opened shops, facebook or emails. Sometimes, in less than an hour. Send me a message through shapeways internal messenger and I will send you my direct email.

Anyway, the 1/35 propeller, rudder, etc. model is already fixed and open again from some days. It's sad shapeways rejected it, cause they printed this set for the closest 1/32 scale several times without any problem.

Thanks for your interest in my models.

Best regards from the sunny Spain.

Luis
