We have been going through my dad's things and we found 2 pictures. I have scanned them into our family record, and if anyone would like them please let me know. One is of his training group in Farragut, ID. The designation is Company 155-43, Regiment 2, Battalion 5, U.S. Naval Training Station, Farragut, Idaho. April,. 1943 (date is unreadable). The picture measures 10" x 20". It is framed but frame is not in real good shape. The second picture is of my dad's crew, PT 62. It was taken at Treasure Island base not sure of year but my dad was on boat from 12/43 to 4/44.This is an 8x10 and has some names on back. Shows 13 enlisted and 3 officers. I hate throwing away anything with historical value. If anyone wants these for display or personal please let me know.

Rick;
Good for you, I am glad you want to preserve the historical items you have found in your Dad's things. I wish all felt this way, or at least donate their relatives items to their local museums. All too often nobody cares and these items wind up in the trash, or worse.
If you would like to, please post your PT 62 crew photo here. There aren't many photos of PT 62-65 after they left Melville(RON 4) for duty with RON 5.
Take care,
TED
