While we are speaking of anniversary's, yesterday, October 12, was the 74th anniversary of the first RON 3(2) Boats arriving at Tulagi.

PT 47 (LTjg Henry S. Taylor CO, ENS, Stanley C. Thomas XO).
PT 38 (LTjg Robert L. Searles CO, ENS. William E. Kreiner lll XO).

*** Also riding on PT 60 was RON 3(2) Squadron Commander, LCDR Alan R."MONTY" Montgomery, USN.
