Hi! I am the curator of the Puget Sound Navy Museum in Bremerton, WA. We are working on an exhibit about patrol boats in Puget Sound, and the PT boat story will be part of the exhibit.
I understand there were three waves of PT boat activity in the Puget Sound region:
1) Following Pearl Harbor, PTs 22, 24, 27, and 28 came through Puget Sound en route to Alaska
2) Later in the war, RON13 and RON16 came through, also en route to the Aleutians
3) Late in the war, the PT Ferrying Command transferred PT boats to Russia. This transfer happened in Puget Sound.

If you have any information to share about these local PT boat activities, I'd love to hear from you, either here or at curator.psnm@navy.mil
