Just to let the modelers on the Forum know, Jeff has made some great 1/72nd scale Elco charthouse running lights (six sets of port & starboard lights), and apparently Luis has made some 1/72nd scale Mark VI depth charges (a set of four charges & racks) on Shapeways.

For those of us that still work with the old 1/72nd scale Revell 80' Elco kit, these long-needed parts are very, very welcome, and I for one will be buying several of each.

Thank you, Jeff and Luis!

Thanks, Drew.

I have high deference for this serious forum and I don't want to post every day about my new upload models. Some people could be bothered thinking all this was spam.

Anyway, I could write about news ONLY in this post if you agree, and I encourage my shapeways designer fellows to do the same to keep this forum clean from shapeways links hidden in different threads.

My work is available here:

These designers are also specialized in PT Boat parts:

Luis,

I, for one, appreciate knowing about the new products. On the other hand, I respect your concern about the forum becoming too commercial, but I think you have struck a nice balance.

Saludos cordiales. [:-happy-:]

Cheers!

Hi.

Ric (Capt. Speirs) asked about PT Elco control panel for 1/35 scale.

Now available here for 1/35 Italeri but also for the 1/30 Dumas models:

Hi Luis,
These Oerlikon racks are very cool, and having them available in 1/48 is even more cool. Have you thought about designing Oerlikon magazines (right-handed) as well?

Cheers!

Hi, Bob.
