PT 109 plaque is still at Doyle Auction (Peter Costanzo@Doyle.com) awaiting resolution. For
more information and suggestions, please contact them direct. It was pull from the Doyle auction
since 2012.

Wow! It's been over three years now? Seems like that should be in the US Navy Museum. Maybe Frank could set up a permanent display there! :-)

Wow
That is crazy, It is the real deal plaque removed by Bryant Larson"s Navigator, QM 1/C James G. "Guy" Manning, Plankowner of PT 109, what is the hang up?
Where is the Navy? Where is the Kennedy Library? Somebody needs to secure this before it walks off or disappears again.

Frank did mention a guy in New England(I think) that made "copies" of the plaque and tried selling them, but this is not one of those.
Take care,
TED

Ted,
Frank is right. I saw a well made plaque on ebay, 2014 asked for $15000. Is he nuts? The real
one has four extra small holes on the plaque. May be we should build a fire under Doyle to speed
things up. Any ideas?

As I recall there was some problems when they went to sell it. I do not remember what it was. All I know i that it was pulled quickly from the site. I pretty much lost track of it, could be in private hands by now, possibly sold in a private deal............
