1:72 roll off racks
http://www.ptboatforum.com/cgi-bin/MB2/netboardr.cgi?cid=101&fid=102&tid=4076
I am pretty much out of options in obtaining 8 roll off racks for MK-Xlll torpedoes. WEM used to have them but have been out of stock forever. We need them for a project that Stan Pienkowski and I are working on. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

Hi, Frank.
It's sad you don't like I re-scale my racks:

Hello fellow PT boat enthusiasts!
David Waples contacted me some time ago requesting designs for 1/72 scale PT boat features for 3D printing. Since Luis has already begun these designs before I could get to them, please patronize Luis, aka HOLDEN8702 on Shapeways.
He and I have agreed not to duplicate each others' work. There is very little money in 3D printing for designers (the real money is in the printing, not the designing), so better for us to complement each others' work than directly compete.
But please check out my Shapeways store for all your other ship modeling needs!

Best wishes to all!
Have fun. Monkey around.

Thanks Steve, I am sure between you and Luis we should be in much better shape when we build PT BOAT models.

I'm hoping Luis - I've already asked him -- can come up with some nice running lights and air scoops in 1/72nd scale, for the sides of the charthouse of the Revell 80' Elco kit.
With all the myriad (rendered in very tiny scales) ship parts I see illustrated on the 3D websites, this is certainly seems possible...

Hi.
These are available now in 1/72 scale (also in 1/20).
But please ask for the rack type, scale, quantity or whatever you need.

Thanks so much Luis, these are going to make our project that much better, and for that matter those that need these items in different scales. Love your work.

Thank you, Frank.
I will upload them in different scales people ask me. I did several types, and would be so much time to do them in all scales at the same time.
Best regards

Hi.
Drew and some other people were interested in running lights for his PT.
Jeffrey Davidson -PT103.com- is already doing these available in his shapeways shop:
