Hello shipmates,
I am proud to announce a brand new look and content on the website for the PT658 out in Portland, OR. Our illustrious webmaster of this very Forum graciously volunteered to help us out in completely modernizing the look and feel of our outdated website. He even helped Wally Boerger, our local webmaster, learn how to maintain the new site. One thing that I think everyone will be interested in doing is checking out our new "Virtual Tour" made by TrueTour Virtual Media, where you can virtually walk around every compartment and all over the deck of the boat, and zoom in and focus on details in a 360 degree photograph. Here you can see every little detail just as it is on the boat as if you were actually there. Additionally, in the near future, the Virtual Tour will have detail text boxes and embedded videos inserted that add interest and answer questions about what you are looking at. They will show up as small icons with the smallcase letter " i " for "information" or the smallcase letter "v " for video. So we would also like to point out that Dick included his excellent cutaway drawings that you can view on the website to add greater depth of understanding to the construction and arrangement of the PT658. Thanks again Dick you do wonderful work!!! Everyone on board was truly impressed with how much work you put into this endeavor. Jerry
