Dear Friends,
I just wanted to let you know that Earl had told me he had been having a string of bad luck.

He has been in and out of hospitals and rehab for the last three months. First time one of the hospitals gave him the wrong medicine and it counteracted with his blood thinner medicine. He was given nine pints of blood and eight bags of plasma to stop the internal bleeding.

He came home for a week then injured his left leg and had to have surgery and rehab again. He now has a home health nurse coming trying to get the skin graft on his leg to heal.
He says "Otherwise he's OK"

I asked his permission to post the news of this run of bad luck because I knew you guy's would like to know. He said I could.

Hope your feeling better soon Earl, I hope you have a nice nurse
[:-veryhappy-:]

Earl - This PT Splinter and Family wish you the speediest of recoveries. We recently learned that my Father-in Law was assigned to your beloved 108 for 5 months in 1944. We feel a real kinship with you. Get well, sailor!
