http://www.ptboatforum.com/cgi-bin/MB2/netboardr.cgi?cid=101&fid=102&tid=3882

Hello again. Just a quick question: Does anyone know where I can acquire copies of IPMS model magazines? Specifically, rather old back issues. The ones I am looking for were in the spring and summer of 1976. The articles I am interested in were about making accurate models of the Revell PT boat kit. I had these, but lost them thanks to a series of Florida hurricanes. I wanted to rebuild a model I had, which was also lost. These articles showed how to do so without spending a small fortune on resin and photo etch (this was before such were available). I know it is a long shot, but I thought if anyone had these, or copies of these particular articles, I would find it here. Thanks....

Louis, have you tried writing IPMS to see if they can provide you copies, maybe in digital form? Otherwise best guess would be some place like eBay. I just looked there and there's all kinds of old issues. You may find what you're looking for there.

Thanks for your response. I have tried IPMS, but to no avail. I had not thought of Ebay though, and I will certainly give that a look. Thank you..that is a helpful idea and appreciate that.
