When I make my "last patrol" what are some of your suggestions to do with all my PT Boat belonging, after my family reviews all the material.

How much does it cost for shipping container and shipping charges, typically for large models.

Victor;
What size are we talking about? 1/20th or one of those giant 1/10th models?
Frank and Wayne are your guys for shipping advice.
Take care,

I am thinking a model of 2 to 3 feet.

Victor, do you have a picture of the model and is it in a protective case of some sort? Without knowing the type of model, how delicate it is, etc. it would be difficult to give advice.

Many of the commission builders I know won't even ship a model anymore. They will only hand deliver.

Victor I have shipped some models using my local pack and ship company that charges you to insure they get there with no damage. If they are in a case however, they should be removed from the case before shipping. I received a wonderful model a year ago, and the guy that shipped it took off the SO Radar, and the other deck guns. He put them in a separate small box. He wrapped the torpedoes using small plastic ties, and the boat arrived without mishap. All I needed to do was put back the guns and the SO Radar Mast.
