I have built RC models of the three American motor torpedo boats used to defeat the Axis in WWII. I am now contemplating whether to do a model of the Higgins Hellcat, but find accurate line drawings are difficult to find.
Does anyone know of a source for a set of hull lines, such as those offered by Al Ross. I did purchase one set of drawings, but they turned out to be for a 70' Elco.
I also tried UNO files but getting a response from them has been less than encouraging, thanks, Larry.

Hi Larry,
You can click on the UNO Louisiana Digital Library link, http://louisdl.louislibraries.org/cdm/landingpage/collection/HIC then, in the search box type "Hellcat" and hit the "search'button at the top of the page, and something like 15-20 drawings come up, including the "hull construction", "hull lines and offsets", "outboard profile and layout", "interior arrangement", among may others. I think these would be more than enough to build a model of the PT564 Hellcat. Also ,you may want to add the logo, posted below. Good Luck, Jerry

Jerry and Jeff

Thanks for the information, these drawings should get me well on the way.
I do like the menacing mascot shield carried on the boat, and from what I have read it was a real winner in the speed and maneuvering aspects of a high performance watercraft.
Wonder what her fate was, all I could find was that she sold after the war and vanished in obscurity.

You're welcome Larry. Yah that's one badass plaque! Definitely not a Disney work.
