If anyone is interested or looking for a nice copy of Knights of the Sea, a pretty good looking copy went on e-bay yesterday at a pretty decent price. There is no photo of the page that shows what book number it is but I'm sure you could ask.

I just picked up one at Flea Market just outside my hometown. Very nice original copy numbered 489. Bought it for $30.00. I now have three of them, and find the book to be so awesome. I wish it could have been expanded so that others that did not make the first copy, could have been in a second version. I do love the book and I know you will really enjoy it Dave...........

Why can't there be a second "Expanded" version? Maybe go electronic and include video and audio, since size of content and material becomes less of a production issue. Could generates new income for PT Boats, Inc as a DVD, other formats, or downloads.

I have the digital version which I like because I don't have to keep using the book to look up information on the PT BOAT VETS. It saves the book and is steal at $67.00.

Hi All,

I was just expressing support for Frank's mention of an expanded version of this PT Boat classic that could contain all the additional vet info that has come in during the past 30 some years. My reference to "electronic"is to something beyond just a pdf version of the printed material. Since page count wouldn't be an issue (with nothing "printed"), you could fit as much info as you have time and material. This could easily include audio and video vet recounts, as well as an expanded photo library, and even source documents.

I enjoy and refer to my hardcopy often, but thought Franks' idea of an expanded version worthy of a hearty Hazzah! I also agree that the search capability of the current DVD pdf version is awesome for research.

Cheers,
Andy
