Does anyone know about the PT 48 and other WW II items auction by Bonhams of NY?

Victor;
Thanks for the heads up, my prayers are with her. Now maybe somebody on the East Coast will buy my girl and restore her to all her sweet glory!!! I will keep my eyes peeled for the results!!! If and when it happens, if the new buyer asks, I will be the first to volunteer to work on her.
Take care,
TED

Hi Ted,
Here is a link that you can click on and everyone can see the ad in their catalog. It is on the next to last page, page number 137.
To see the page, grab the scroll bar slider and drag it to the bottom of the line on the right side of the screen, until you see page 137 near the bottom.

I was amazed looking through the collection of materials for sale. Too rich for my blood!

For more information on PT 48, type in Fleet Obsolete in internet.

Victor;
I went to the Fleet Obsolete website and I see nothing new posted. Did you find something out about the result of the auction?
Take care,

PT 48 was not on the auction list. They just want to sell it. He didn’t give me the price.
May be you can email Fleet Obsolete to get the price. I understand they have more
PT boats.

Victor;
Rob currently owns PT 459, PT 486, PT615, and a ARS boat, in addition to PT 48.
PT 48 by far needs the most work and will be more of a reconstruction vice restoration, so it is regrettably understandable that he wants to sell her first. I just pray she goes to a VERY good home.
Take care,
TED

P.S. she is still listed on http://www.fleetobsolete.com/
