Dave knows his stuff and works mainly from primary reference material.

Excellent pointer!

I really appreciate it when someone takes the time to do a complete evaluation. FYI to the group, Christian Sheppard-Capurro makes the S7-13 E-Boat hull for the 1/72 Airfix, and I highly recommend his products. The Huckins hulls he has been making for my upcoming Huckins PT Boat kits are outstanding!

For those interested he may be reached at mtbhulls@gmail.com

Cheers,
Andy

Thanks Andy

This is my hull;

and here compared to the kit hull;

the Airfix guys seemingly had no section drawings to work from, the plan and side elevation outlines are about right (the kit deck sits nicely on my hull) except for the leaning-forwards transom.

Christian.

Andy,

What reference drawings are you using for your kit? Can you upload us some photos of the kit in its current state?
