Has anyone posted PDFs into Photobucket? I have some larger size PDFs I'd like to post for all armchair historians to have access to but not sure how Phototbucket will react.

Hi Bridge,
I have dealt with this issue recently and found a somewhat tedious method to get around it. First of all, the Photobucket does not accept adobe acrobat pdf files to upload. So I opened my .pdf file on my laptop, then after enlarging it to a readable size, I did a "screen capture" using the keys "Control" + "Print Screen" simultaneously. This captures whatever is on your monitor into the computers notepad. Then I opened a simple graphics program, (in my case "Microsoft Paint") and into a blank new document, pasted the screen capture using the "Control" + "V" buttons, so the screen capture is now pasted into the Paint document. Then I save the new file and choose "save as .jpeg" and call the file something I can remember, like "JerrysPicture.jpeg". Then, if I want to edit it again, I can crop out the borders of the page etc using Microsoft Photo Editor or another like it.

After you have converted all of your pdf file pages into .jpegs then you can upload the .jpegs into "Photobucket"

I imagine there may be a way to directly convert .pdf files into .jpegs, but I dont think that method is for free.

Hope this helps.

Hi Bridge . . .

Send me the .pdf files, and I’ll see what the best posting options we have. PDF’s are not internet friendly, but there are some work-around options available.
