Hello guys, thought I would ask you all a favor. My good friend Walter Pirog, who served on PT-308 ( La Dee Da) is now living at the Holyoke Soldiers Home. I thought it would be nice if we could send him a few Christmas Cards. Walter is now 92. Just spoke with him last night, he has all his faculties and remembers his time spent of PT-308.

How is Walt doing? I sent him a card, but have not heard anything yet.

Ted, Walter is 91 years old now, and does not reply to the letters. He does not have a phone in his room, so when I do call him, the nurse must get him, and he wheels over to the phone, providing they will go out of their way to do this. I have sent him letters and cards, but he never replies. I will do my best to try and reach him to ask your question............
